MICHIGAN CITY -- When two dozen or so teens participate in a week-long camping expedition through the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Parkids program, they take a Saturday afternoon class at the Elston Middle School pool to serve as their base knowledge for the kayaking portion of the journey.
